Shooting results from a struggle over a gun in Dunlap

DUNLAP, Tennessee (WDEF) – A Dunlap man has been charged with Aggravated Assault after a shooting last Friday.

Investigators say it began with a domestic fight at a home in the Valley View Subdivision.

But instead of threatening to shoot each other, the couple threatened to kill themselves.

The parties then fought over the gun and it went off.

The female was shot in the arm and taken to the hospital.

48 year old Clark Morris also suffered minor wounds to the arms, but he is the one who was charged.
