Shooting victim found in pick-up truck off Rossville Boulevard

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) —  Chattanooga Police are investigating a deadly shooting that happened early Thursday morning.

Police responded to a shots fired call just before 4:30 a.m. in the 3700 block of Rossville Boulevard.

That’s where officers found a 61-year-old man inside his pickup truck with life-threatening gunshot wounds.

Officers immediately began life-saving measures.

EMS transported the victim to a local hospital where he died.

Investigators believe someone shot him while he was stopped at an intersection.
