Sign-ups needed for TN Childhood Cancer License Tag

News 12 at Noon: Ted Gocke with J103 joins News 12’s Amelia Greer in hopes of furthering a late mother’s mission.

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF)-  Sign-ups are still needed to get a specialty license plate made in Tennessee.

A local mom was one of the key proponents for getting a childhood cancer awareness tag created for the state.

After her recent passing, community partners are working to accomplish her mission.

Gloria Moser founded The Grayson Foundation after her son Grayson died of pediatric cancer. Moser was later diagnosed with cancer herself and passed away this year.

She worked with The American Childhood Cancer Organization to get the campaign running.

They are roughly 400 preorders short. The deadline is January 6, 2026.

The official Childhood Cancer Tag TN website shared:

“This is such a simple, yet meaningful way to honor all the kids in treatment, in remission, and in Heaven.  We promise, it will bring a smile to the faces of all the childhood cancer families to see these gold ribbon tags on Tennessee roads!”

Christian radio station, J103 is hoping to spread her message and achieve the 1,000 sign-ups needed to get the tags created.

You can make your $40 deposit at Reserve TN Plate.
