Signal Mountain native killed in jet ski crash

PALO PINTO COUNTY, Texas (WDEF) – A Signal Mountain native was killed over the weekend in a jet ski crash in Texas.

22 year old Harrison Smith was one of two men killed in the crash early Saturday morning on Lake Palo Pinto, west of Fort Worth.

The caller who reported the incident said two of his friends left on a jet ski around 1:20 AM and he later heard a loud crash.

Wildlife officials believe the jet ski hit a boat dock.

Smith was interning in Fort Worth.
