Signal Mountain road project could finish this week

SIGNAL MOUNTAIN, Tennessee (WDEF) – A TDOT contractor has completed that slope stabilization project on U.S. 127, Signal Mountain Boulevard.

Traffic is flowing today, after TDOT maintenance crews removed the concrete barrier rails and replaced them with barrels.

When the barrier rails are removed, TDOT will begin paving operations on the area of roadway behind the barrels.

The temporary traffic signals will remain in place to move traffic through the work zone.

Flaggers will assist with traffic until the paving work is fully completed.

It should be done by tomorrow, weather permitting.
