Signal Mountain SNAP donations
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — The towns of Signal Mountain and Walden are teaming up to help their neighbors who are coping with the SNAP shutdown.
They’ve combined to donate seven thousand dollars to Signal Mountain Social Services.
And individual elected officials are kicking in another six thousand dollars.
The money is designated to help people suffering from food insecurity on the mountain.
Both towns are taking part in a food drive for SMSS on November 15th.
