Silverdale Baptist Joining Division II Classification in 2017

Silverdale Baptist Academy has announced they will move into the Division II classification starting next season.
Silverdale is a private school, but they’ve been playing in the Division I classification with public schools for more than ten years.
Last fall the TSSAA voted that any school that offers financial assistance or work-study programs to off-set tuition must play in Division two.
Fellow private schools Boyd Buchanan and Chattanooga Christian have already said they will be joining the
Division II ranks in 2017.
