Silverdale Comes Up Short in Bid For Third Straight State Title

Murfreesboro, TN-(WDEF-TV) The Silverdale softball team nearly pulled off the impossible on Friday before falling short in their bid for three consecutive state titles. The Seahawks had to win two games against DCA. In game one, the Seahawks trailed 3-2, and they were down to their final out, when they got a clutch base hit from Gabbie Hensley to drive in two runs to make it 4-3 Silverdale. Seahawks went on to win 6-3. But in game two, DCA got a run in the top of the 7th to

win it 4-3.
