Silverdale Falls in Final Four 66-59 to FACS

Cookeville, TN-(WDEF-TV) Playing in their first ever state final four on Friday, Silverdale lost to First Assembly Christian School 66-59. The Seahawks got off to a fast start taking a 9-0 lead as the three-ball was going down. In the second quarter, the Seahawks managed only 8 points as Brett Wright spent much of the quarter on the bench with two fouls. The Crusaders pushed the lead to ten early in the fourth quarter before Silverdale battled back. Wright had a put-back jam to cut the lead to four with roughly four minutes to play, but the Seahawks could not get over the hump. Kennedy Okpara led Silverdale with 19 points, while Wright scored 17.  M-J Hayes of FACS led all scorers with 23 on 10-12 shooting from the floor.
