Silverdale inmate escape Wednesday night

The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Fugitive Apprehension Strike Team has quickly recaptured Kenneth Miller.

He has just been apprehended without incident.

Miller faces a new charge of Escape.

CHATTANOOGA (WDEF) – Staff members at the Silverdale Detention Facility came up one inmate short at their Wednesday night head count.

46 year old Kenneth Miller was arrested last week for criminal trespassing.

But they could not find him at the midnight count.

While the Sheriff’s Department is looking for Miller, the facility is on lockdown while they figure out how he escaped.

All other inmates have been accounted for.
