Silverdale Wins District Showdown Over Boyd Buchanan 53-48 in Overtime

Chattanooga-(WDEF-TV) In a district showdown on Friday night, Silverdale edged Boyd Buchanan 53-48 in overtime. The Bucs Hudson Jones tied the game at 45 with a three pointer with roughly 45 seconds to play to force the overtime period. Early in OT, Silverdale forced a steal and bucket by Judah Richardson, and they never gave up the lead in securing the five-point victory. Boyd Buchanan played without head coach Matt Hoppe who is recovering from a heart attack he suffered this week.
