Siskin Hospital to open new location in Catoosa County

CATOOSA COUNTY, Ga (WDEF) – Catoosa County will soon be the home of a brand-new Siskin rehabilitation hospital.

“We have served hundreds of patients who live in North Georgia at our other clinics every year,” said Matt Gibson, President and CEO of Siskin Hospital. “So, we are really excited that they will have a more convenient location closer to where they live and work.

Siskin has been serving the greater Chattanooga community for nearly three decades.

The first Siskin Hospital offered only 50 inpatient rehabilitation beds.

Over the years, that number has steadily grown.

“Our talented therapists in this clinic and our other five clinics across the metro area help people get back to doing what they love. So, that is what this is all about being able to do that quicker because it’s closer to home. You do not want to drive as far to get there,” said Gibson.

Patients will be receiving physical, occupational, and speech therapy.

“This location is so central to our community on Battlefield Parkway, whether you are in Ringgold or even down in Walker County, that is a very centralized location. So, it will be really easy to get the treatments and then get back home.” said Amy Jackson, President and CEO Catoosa Chamber of Commerce.

The clinic will officially open next year.

Siskin is hoping this clinic will provide the right care for patients moving forward.

“We want folks that may come to our hospital and go to outpatient have that opportunity as well, so it is just going to be a beautiful large setting with lots of windows and natural light that hopefully will motivate patients to get better soon.” Gibson concluded.
