SkyZoo hosts charity event for Chattanooga Heroes Foundation

Chattanooga, TN (WDEF) -Want to have a little fun Thursday night for a good cause? Well, dozens flocked to SkyZoo on Lee Highway for a charity event to support the Chattanooga Heroes Foundation.

All of the proceeds will go the foundation to help the families of the terror victims. That includes door proceeds and raffle ticket sales.

Event organizer, Matt Biskner, has been planning the even with a few friends for weeks now, and said it’s just their way of giving back to those who lost so much, “Everybody’s donated their time. The music, the DJ’s, the live music that’s going on right now they’ve all said that we’ll do this for free, and that was pretty amazing.”

Chattanooga Strong bracelets and T-shirts were also on sale, and Biskner said he plans to make it an annual event for a different charity every year.
