Slackline Walker at Tennessee Aquarium
Chattanooga, TN (WDEF) Professional High Liner Edward Yates walked across a slackline between the peaks of the Tennessee Aquarium Friday.
A slackline is a flat rope-like material about 1 to 2 inches wide.
Yates was about 140 feet in the air.
A large crowd gathered to watch.
The first line he did was 30 feet, and he did several tricks on it.
But the big one that everyone was waiting for was 200 feet across.
He did fall a couple of times, but he was wearing a harness that caught him, and he did make it all the way across.
The event was to kick off the Tennessee Aquarium’s Halloween party this weekend.
