Small Earthquake Shakes Southeast Tennessee

GREENBACK, TN (WDEF-TV) – A minor earthquake registering 4.1 on the Richter scale hit southeast Tennessee Saturday morning around 9:04. The quake was centered in Greenback, Tennessee at a depth of 25km.

Earthquakes in the 2.5 to 5.4 range may cause minor damage.

Greenback is located in Loudon County, Tennessee.
