Soddy Daisy Cheerleaders Welcomed Home With Another National Title
Chattanooga-(WDEF) The Soddy Daisy cheerleaders arrived back at the Chattanooga Airport on Monday night after capturing a national title over the weekend in Dallas.
The Trojans won the National Cheerleader Association national championship for the second year in-a-row.
They competed against nine other teams over a two-day-period to claim the big prize.
Said head coach Anita Newsom-"There’s nothing like it. This is just the Super Bowl of all cheerleading and cheerleading competitions. It’s just an incredible feeling when they call you out or actually when they call out the second place team, and you’re the only one that is left there. That is just an unbelievable experience overall."
