Soddy Daisy shooting this morning

UPDATE:

The Sheriff’s Office has identified the suspect and victim of the shooting this morning in Soddy Daisy.

71 year old Tommy G. Couch Sr. faces charges of Attempted 1st Degree Murder and Especially Aggravated Robbery.

45 year old Veronica Pitts was shot three times, but officials believe her injuries are non-life threatening.

SODDY DAISY, Tennessee (WDEF) – The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a Friday morning shooting in the Soddy Daisy area.

It happened around 7 AM in the 200 block of Coleman Road.

A woman was taken to the hospital, but officials don’t know how badly she was injured yet.

Deputies did take a man into custody at the scene.

The motive is under investigation.
