Some roads closed in Chattanooga from storm damage, flooding

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — There are several roads around Chattanooga that have closed or had limited access due to storm damage.

The Chattanooga Department of Transportation gave an update of closures as of 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

1900 Dodson Avenue is closed due to flooding.

There are trees and power lines down at 1700-1800 Greenwood Road.

Other roads have been reopened after cleanup.

Those include Aster Avenue, Mountain View Road, Snow Hill Road and Riverfront Parkway.

CDOT said road conditions may get worse while high winds continue through Tuesday evening. They ask drivers to be extremely cautious.

Report flooded roads or trees down by calling their 311 Service Center at 423-643-6311 until 5 p.m.

We will work to update this list of road closures throughout the day.
