STEAM Mural

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – Some local students created a special mural for the Chattanooga State Community College Campus.

The kids come from the STEM High school of Chattanooga.

But the mural actually celebrates the subjects of science, technology, engineering, art and math.

The mural is 14 feet by 16 feet, and it’s of physicist Albert Einstein.

The students created it over a 3 week period.

Barry Snyder is the Project Designer.

“They were really into it. And they would share their paint and switch colors. And they would make suggestions to each other. It just became a community of students working for a single purpose. And they were all very excited about it. And I am real happy about the outcome.”

We’ll have more information on the mural on a future edition of our weekly series “What’s Right With Our Schools.”
