One of the tournaments will take place at the Volkswagen Conference Center on Volkswagen drive.

The other will take place at the Chattanooga Girls Leadership Academy Gym.

TVR representatives are expecting more than 20 schools to compete in the tournament.

“It helps students learn how to work together, how to solve problems, and they learn from their mistakes,” said Charles Spencer, treasurer of Tennessee Valley Robotics.  “Students also have to do coding and engineering when doing Robotics. It is just a great practical application.”

After the competition, the winner will take home the robotics tournament trophy.

Both competitions will start at 8 a.m.
