Storms lead to down power lines, trees Saturday evening
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — Another weekend of storms rolls through the area this evening causing power outages and downed trees.
There’s many reports of downed power lines where you’d see similar scenes like this downed wire on Jones Street near Tunnel Boulevard this evening.
EPB reported 2,200 power outages at one point Saturday evening.
Smart grid auto restored/prevented 3,400 customer outages caused by this evenings storm. Crews working to repair damage affecting 2,200.

Hamilton County officials also reported 3 trees had fallen on to homes on Signal Mountain. No injuries were reported.
