Street closings for Athens Moofest

City of Athens, Tennessee

As the festivities roll into downtown Athens, several streets will be temporarily closed starting June 5th, 2026 at 4 p.m. to help keep everyone safe and make room for the celebration.

Street Closures

Madison Ave. (Hill St. to Green St.)
Washington Ave. (Hill St. to Green St.)
Hornsby St. (Church St. to Long St.)
White St. (College St. to Bank St.)
N. Jackson St. (College St. to Hwy. 30)
Long St. (Washington Ave. to Madison Ave.)
Baxter St. (Washington Ave. to Hwy. 30)

Closures will last until June 6th, 2026 at 7 p.m.
