Students Under 13 Busted for Marijuana at School on Sand Mountain
Crossville, TN (WDEF) – A School Resource Officer arrested two juveniles for marijuana possession at Crossville School on Tuesday.
He believed they planned to sell it.
They were turned over to the Juvenile Probation Office.
Dekalb County Sheriff Jimmy Harris says the young age of the suspects is troubling.
“What is more disturbing to me is that even though it was a small amount of Marijuana both of these kids are under the age of 13. This is one of the reasons we need School Resource Officers in the Schools. The School Resource Officer did a great job on following up on information leading to these arrests.”
