Super Bowl Champ Kareem Orr honored at Red Wolves opener

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — From the Super Bowl to the Scenic City, former Chattanooga Moc and Notre Dame alum Kareem Orr is on his championship tour around the city after winning the Super Bowl with the Rams a couple months ago.

Orr was the guest of honor at the Red Wolves home opener against Forward Madison Saturday. He got the 2022 season started with a ceremonial first kick, second time was the charm against Rusty. Nevertheless, Orr a huge hit in front of the first ever sell out crowd at CHI Memorial Stadium.

After everything he’s been through — transfers and team changes — winning the Super Bowl has been a dream come true.

“I dreamed of it. I dreamed about it. Never thought it’d come this soon but I dreamed about it,” Orr said. “I’m glad it finally came. Thank God Almighty. Never really… there’s a lot of people in the NFL that never go to the playoffs so I’m blessed to go to the playoffs two years before with the Titans and then win the Super Bowl.”
