Mediterra Savory Nutrition Bar Black Olives & Walnuts is a HIT.
The move is away from those overly sweet and heavy energy bars to ones that are savory – and this one does that perfectly! A delicious and crispy bar made in a base from a recipe of pea protein and rice flour. The nuts, vegetables and olive oil are in perfect balance. 170 calories, 10 grams of fat with just 3 grams of sugars delivers 6 grams of protein. Gluten free and imported from Canada. V8 Vegetable and Fruit Juice Beverages Purple Power is HIT.
This blend of vegetables and juices is delicious. No sugar added, the 11 grams of sugars are all naturally occurring from the vegetables and fruits. Just 50 calories in a 8 oz glass. I also tried it by mixing half and half with Perrier and it was a delicious refreshing drink. Contains 75% juice. I’ve said it before I know, but this is the year where we will be seeing a lot more beets being used as an ingredient. This bottle contains the juice of over 5 beets. Go beets. Retails for $3.99 for 46 fl oz. Total Score 89
Kids Gourmet Slammers Awesome Flavor is my PICK OF THE WEEK.
You know when a product’s flavor is "awesome" that it isn’t designed for baby boomers! Having said that, this snack is "awesome" for any age. Delicious with a terrific (and not overdone) flavor of banana – which too often overpowers the other flavors. Bananas, apples, blueberries, strawberries, beets, acai & amaranth in a smooth applesauce type of consistency. One pouch is just 60 calories, 0 grams of fat, 10 mg of sodium, 9 grams of sugars and delivers 90% RDA for Vitamin C. Love the product, but it’s not enough to say "high in antioxidants" tell us how high! Retails for $3.99 for 4 x 3.17 oz pouches. Total Score 92
