Fire ruled suspicious

Hamilton County, Tenn. (WDEF)-A fire in the Dallas Bay area has been labeled suspicious.

Dallas Bay firefighters arrived at a home on Levi road just after 8:30 p.m. Monday night. Heavy smoke was reported on the front side of the house.

Once inside, firefighter found the fire inside the front door and foyer area.

They extinguished the fire within minutes. Damages are listed at $5,000.

The cause of the is undetermined. The fire was declared suspicious by fire officials and will be under investigation by the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office.
