Suspect accused of stabbing deputy back in Walker County
LAFAYETTE, Georgia (WDEF) – 44 year old James Allen Johnson has been extradited back to Walker County.
He has been charged with stabbing Sheriff’s Office Corporal J. D. Holland on Monday, July 3rd.
Johnson waived extradition to Georgia in a Hamilton County court on Wednesday.
He faces charges of aggravated assault on a peace officer and violation of parole.
Johnson was released from prison a year ago.
The Georgia Bureau of Investigation is investigating the assault.
