ATLANTA, Georgia (WDEF) – Atlanta Police believe a shooting this afternoon was not random.

They got a call about an active shooter in the Midtown area.

Two people were killed on West Peachtree and Peachtree streets and a third victim wounded.

Police were able to review videos from the area from a new integrated camera system that uses people’s own cell phones along with street cameras.

The suspect fled the area and got transportation to the airport.

She was taken into custody there before getting through security checkpoints.

Air passengers posted photos of the arrest.

Police say she used a handgun and they say no one at the airport was ever in danger.

In a press conference after her arrest, Police said they believe she targeted all three of the victims and did not shoot anyone randomly.

But they are not releasing a motive for the shootings at this time.

There is no word now on the condition of the third victim.
