Suspect arrested in Florida over January Dalton Road Rage incident
DALTON, Georgia (WDEF) – On Thursday, U.S. Marshals arrested a suspect in Florida on charges from a road rage incident in North Georgia.
The incident happened on West Walnut Avenue in Dalton on January 28.
Investigators say two drivers were both driving aggressively towards each other.
They say 29-year-old Damien E’Shaud Johnson fired several shots which hit the other vehicle.
However, no one was hurt.
Police say Johnson fled the scene, went home, then escaped.
The U.S. Marshals Service Fugitive Task Force tracked him to Florida.
They arrested him in Fort Pierce Thursday morning, February 29.
He faces charges of aggravated assault and reckless driving.
