Suspect fled the scene after a shooting on Norman Lane

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – Thursday, Chattanooga Police responded to a shooting on Norman Lane at 5:48 P.M.

Upon arrival, officers found a 48-year-old male victim who had a non-life threatening injury.

Emergency services quickly transported the victim to a local hospital.

According to police, the preliminary investigation says the victim and suspect were inside an apartment when an argument started. The suspect grabbed a gun and shot the victim, then fled the scene before police arrived.

Police are continuing to investigate and asks anyone with information to contact the Chattanooga Police at 423-698-2525.
