Suspect injured in Chattanooga home invasion, police say
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — Chattanooga Police say officers were called to a home invasion around 11:25 p.m. Saturday night.
It happened in the 4300 block of Howell Road.
According to Chattanooga Police, 21-year-old Damean Jones entered the home with a firearm and shots were fired.
Police say when officers arrived on the scene, two victims were found unharmed inside the home.
Chattanooga Police also say a short time later a man arrived at a local hospital suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
Police determined that man, identified as Damean Jones, was the suspect from the home invasion on Howell Road.
Chattanooga Police say Jones’s injuries are non-life-threatening.
According to Chattanooga Police, warrants are on file for Jones for Aggravated Assault and Aggravated Burglary.
