Suspect turns himself in on Dodds Avenue fatal shooting charges

CHATTANOOGA (WDEF) – A teenage suspect in a fatal shooting in East Chattanooga two weeks ago has turned himself in.

The 16 year old male was in a vehicle on Dodds Avenue on the evening of March 31st when he was shot.

He would die later from his injuries.

Investigators had filed warrants for the arrest of another juvenile for doing the shooting.

Chattanooga Police say that when the suspect learned of the arrest warrant, he turned himself in.
