Suspect Who Killed K-9 Officer in Walker County Pleas
LaFayette, GA (WDEF) The man who shot and killed a K-9 officer in Walker County plead guilty to numerous charges Tuesday.
Steven Waldemer received sentences of fifty years, with the first twenty-five years to be served in custody.
In June, deputies were coming to arrest Waldemer on sexual assault charges when he shot and killed K-9 officer Tanja.
He also wounded Deputy Donnie Brown.
Waldemer was already on parole out of Idaho for kidnapping when this happened.
