Swimming Babies, Saving Lives

A Northern Alabama woman is teaching babies how to survive if they fall into water, and she’s about to bring those services to Chattanooga
Leslie Britnell is an instructor for Infant Swimming resource.
They teach 6 to 12 month old babies how to roll over and float if they fall in water.
That allows the babies to breath, and parents the time to come get their kids out.
The techniques can save the life of a little one, and parents say it was a no brainer to get their kids involved.
"I almost drowned when I was a kid and we have an in ground pool and I don’t wanna lose a kid," said swimmer Mom Morgan Standridge.
The instructor plans to offer a six week course in Chattanooga in October.  You can find out how to sign up here: http://www.infantswim.com/instructor-locator.html?zip=38852&radius=75
