TBI and Cumberland Co. Sheriff’s Office investigate fire fatality

CROSSVILLE, Tenn. (WDEF) — The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office are investigating a residential fire fatality.

At around 3:15 a.m. on Sunday, Cumberland County Fire responded to a fully engulfed home at 1041 Flathead Road.

An individual was found dead inside the residence.

However, the identity of that individual has not been confirmed at this time.

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI) along with the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office are conducting an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the fire.
