TBI Investigating 6 Deaths in Marion County

MARION COUNTY, Tenn. (WDEF) -TBI is investigating the deaths of 3 adults and 3 children in Marion County Tennessee.  The bodies were found at a home overnight at 200 Pine Street in Sequatchie.   According to investigators, Marion County deputies and Jasper police officers responded to a shooting call shortly before 9 last night.  When they arrived on the scene, authorities found the home had been set on fire.  Firefighters extinguished the flames.  Authorities then found the remains of three adults and three children inside the home.  A seventh person, who was shot remains hospitalized in the Chattanooga.

The TBI tells us the individual believed to be responsible for the incident died.  The bodies were taken to Nashville for autopsies.   TBI will continue to investigate this case.
