TBI searching for Tennessee man who escaped federal custody
WASHINGTON COUNTY, Tenn. (WDEF) — The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation issued a public safety alert for the state regarding a man who escaped custody.
The TBI is searching for Sean Christopher Williams, who is wanted out of Washington County on multiple charges.
Williams faces the following charges:
- Rape of a child – 2 counts,
- Especially aggravated sexual exploitation of a minor – 16 counts,
- Aggravated sexual battery of a child under 13 – 3 counts.
The TBI said Williams escaped federal custody as they were transporting him to a U.S. District Court in Greenville. He escaped custody on Wednesday morning, October 18.
Authorities are now offering a $2,500 reward for information leading to Williams’ arrest.
