TDFN12: McMinn Co at Rhea Co

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – We’ve got our own All American game tonight with the Cherokees facing the Eagles.

Starting off with McMinn running the ball, Xavier Abernathy looks like he’s making a good gain when its fumbled Rhea county’s Dylan Smith dives on it for the recover.

Rhea, taking advantage, hand the ball back to Dylan Smith who bobs and weaves his way past the 10 yard before getting tackled for a 1st down.

Keeping the speed going they give Christian Simon the ball who makes his way to the goal line for the first TD of the game bringing up Rhea 7-0.

McMinn turns over the ball and give the Eagles another chance to spread their wings as Aaron Worthington flies down the field for another TD.

McMinn was ready for this field goal as the use one of their facemasks for a block, extra point is no good.

But Rhea county would score a field goal right before the half bringing them up 23-0.

The Eagles soar on to victory with the score 30-6
