TECH BYTE: AI Products at CES 2024
LAS VEGAS, Nev. (WDEF) — Artificial intelligence is taking over the Consumer Electronics Show this year.
The annual tech event in Las Vegas is bringing in more than 4,000 exhibitors from all around the world.
Hundreds of the products they’re showing off feature AI.
Samsung is touting their new rolling AI home companion, Ballie.
This friendly digital butler is about the size of a soccer ball.
Samsung says Ballie maps out the floor plan of your home, so it can better help you around the house.
Ballie will come to you when you summon it, and greet you at the door.
The round robot can even project pictures and videos on the wall if you ask it to.
This feature is helpful when making a conference call, watching a movie, and even reading over a cooking recipe.
And speaking of cooking, AI can also help with actually *making* your food.
Check out the SEERGRILLS Perfecta – the world’s first AI powered grill.
With just a touch of a button, it can cook your meat in only 90 seconds.
SEERGRILLS CEO says “you’ll get the best, most juiciest food you’ve ever tasted.”
You’ll always have your own personal chef or grill master on-hand now!
Robots can also come in handy at a hospital.
Some robots from Enchanted Tools have learned to help healthcare workers with certain tasks – like making deliveries.
The company says they’re not your typical robot per say.
They have more personality than you might think.
As if CES wasn’t enough, Samsung will also be announcing some of its newest Galaxy smartphones on January 17.
They’re teasing an all-new mobile experience powered by AI.
