Tennessee special session ends
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WDEF) — The Tennessee special session regarding public safety has adjourned for both the Senate and the House.
The special session ended on Tuesday, passing a total of three bills. WTVF Nashville reported that only one of those bills related to firearms.
However, they report that funding has been passed for mental health and school safety.
They also state that the special session costed taxpayers and estimated $60,000 per day.
Tennessee state democrats say one of their House members was ruled out of order on Monday.
