Tennessee STEM Explorers visited EPB Chattanooga
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – Tennessee STEM Explorers is a TV show that educates middle schoolers on Science, Technology, Engineering and Math throughout Tennessee.
Aubrey Martell is one of the hosts of the show, and a middle schooler.
“I think the main goal of the show is to educate middle schoolers throughout Tennessee about STEM (science, technology, engineering and math),” said Martell.
They made a stop in Chattanooga today to learn about STEM topics at EPB.
They will air two episodes of the show in our city.
At EPB, students got to learn about fiber technology and Quantum.
“The most recent one we were learning about quantum technology and how it is going to be the future,” Martell said. “There are so many different ways that it will impact us.”
Students who host the show travel through the Tennessee area to learn different topics relating to STEM.
Aubrey says Chattanooga has a lot to offer.
“EPB take very complicated subjects like quantum which is very hard to understand and put it on a level that makes it easier for kids to learn,” said Martell. “If you introduce subjects like that it might make them more interested in pursuing that. In which will give them jobs.”
Auditions are now open to middle schoolers who are interested in hosting an episode of Tennessee STEM Explorers.
