The Dinner Bell closed for the unforeseeable future due to fire
FLINTSTONE, Ga. (WDEF) — The Dinner Bell restaurant in Flintstone, Georgia is now closed for the “unforeseeable future” due to a fire.
The fire occurred in the kitchen, December 11, 2024.
Walker County Fire and Rescue responded to the scene.
Reports say two people were inside at the time of the fire, but were able to make it out ok.
The Dinner Bell posted a statement on Facebook, stating:
As most of you have heard, there was a fire at The Dinner Bell tonight. Please note, we will be closed for the unforceeable future until details get figured out. We were not there when the fire started. Everyone is safe. Just in shock. Please keep everyone in your thoughts and prayers as we navigate this situation. We will keep you all updated as we learn more.
The cause of the fire is still unknown.
