The Bearettes beat Cleveland to win their 13th consecutive district tournament title.
Bradley Central hasn’t tasted defeat to a district opponent since December of 2014.

Thirteen straight distict tournament titles. I mean what can you say.
Said head coach Jason Reuter:”Well it never gets old.”
No kidding. But can you even describe the achievement?
Said forward Hannah Jones:”I know it’s crazy.”
Said guard Avary Brewer:”It’s just crazy.”
Is there an echo in here?
It means Bradley Central has been crazy good basically.
Senior Hannah Jones has never lost a district game in her high school career.
Said Jones:”I mean I don’t want to lose the streak on my watch. I mean just continuing it every single time. We play a game. It’s all we have every single game.”
Said Reuter:”History will tell you it will happen. Yeah I hope I’m no the guy calling the shots.”
The streak could have ended Monday night.
Bradley Central was up only four at halftime before beating Cleveland 44-33.
Said Reuter:”We played a team tonight who had a chance to end our streak. It wasn’t a pretty game, but our kids found a way to win. If you remember last year, we won the district tournament. Hannah Jones hit a shot with just a few seconds left. Al Davis. I’m going to steal his smoke. Just win baby. Just win.”
Just win indeed.
The Bearettes have now won 127 consecutive district games.
Said Brewer:”Definitely just our hard work. We all work together. I mean we all just love each other, so that helps.”
Said Jones:”Bringing it every day in practice. We’ve been working since this summer. Every single day we’ve been there. Giving it our all for each other.”
Saod Reuter:”Most kids won’t play on a district championship team. We’ve won 13 in-a-row. I’ve just been blessed with a lot of great players. We work really hard. Very proud of our girls. The Bradley tradition. It’s a very proud program.
