Thousands never made it inside McKenzie Arena to see the President

CHATTANOOGA (WDEF) While thousands of people filled the McKenzie Arena, many others weren’t let in.

Some traveled from as far away as Colorado for the rally, but weren’t let in, because the arena was already full.

Trump supporters who spoke with News 12 weren’t upset about it, and said they were still glad they came to show their support.

Deanna Rice came all the way from Colorado and didn’t make it in.

“We’re just happy to be here, and just really proud of our president, and glad he’s keeping the promises he made on the campaign trail.”

Nathan Elliott from Clarkrange, Tennessee almost made it in.

“We knew when we left this was going to be huge, and it would probably get full, so we had the expectation when we left we weren’t able to get in, so it’s a let down, we within probably 1500 people of getting in, but hey, we’ve got the megatron, so we’re happy.”

Some supporters watched the rally from a large screen outside.
