Three Cleveland Area High School Basketball Players Nominated For McDonald’s All-American Game

(press release January 15, 2025) – This just in, 805 players have been nominated for a chance to play in the 2025 McDonald’s All American Games on April 1 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.  Among those selected are three athletes from Cleveland, TN who have worked tirelessly on and off the court to be one of basketball’s very best.

Players were nominated by a high school coach, athletic director, principal or member of the McDonald’s All American Games Selection Committee based on competitive criteria. The local players from Cleveland nominated for the chance to play in the 2025 McDonald’s All American Games are:

  • TATIANNA STOVALL, BRADLEY CENTRAL HS
  • HARMONIE WARE, BRADLEY CENTRAL HS
  • LAUREN HURST, CLEVELAND HS 

The new class of nominees joins an elite group of athletes who, over four decades, have been nominated for a chance to play in the nation’s premiere showcase – including today’s top stars such as Candace Parker, Trae Young, Jayson Tatum, Kevin Durant, Breanna Stewart, and many more of your favorite players.

The top 24 girls and 24 boys will be revealed later this month and announced across ESPN’s various social and digital platforms.

Tickets to the 2025 McDonald’s All American Games are now available at mcdaag.com. For those who can’t make it out to Brooklyn, the 2025 McDonald’s All American Games will start with the Girls Game on Tuesday, April 1 at 6:30 p.m. ET on ESPN2 and the Boys Game will immediately follow on ESPN at 9:00 p.m. ET.
