Three foot spa workers arrested on prostitution charges

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – Three women face prostitution charges after an undercover investigation into the 7 Days Foot Spa in Hixson.

According to Chattanooga Police, an investigation was prompted by complaints from community members.

Police say that on Wednesday an investigator went into the business posed as customer and bought a massage.

They say after the massage, additional, illicit services were offered for a fee.

51-year-old Yunxia Li was arrested for Promoting Prostitution.

59-year-old Haifang Wu was arrested for Promoting Prostitution & Prostitution.

60-year-old Cuiran Zhi was arrested for Promoting Prostitution.

The investigation found that the three suspects worked together to maintain the business that was promoting prostitution, and that the business was used as their residence.

Police say City of Chattanooga Codes Enforcement condemned the building for several codes violations.

Investigators located the suspects’ Chinese passports and work visas.

Authorities say that Homeland Security was contacted and is following up on the legal status of the suspects.
