Three people displaced in Rossville Blvd fire

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – On Tuesday night, three people were displaced by a house fire off of Rossville Boulevard.

The Chattanooga Fire Department were called to the 2600 block of  E 44th Street just before 6PM.

Firefighters discovered smoke on the way to the scene and arrived to a working residential structure fire.

An interior attack was made, and the fire in the attic was put out after accessing the roof.

All occupants are safe after escaping the burning building. There are no reported injuries.

The Red Cross will be assisting the impacted residents.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.

The Chattanooga Fire Department thanks their mutual aid partners for providing aid which include: Engine 14, Engine 5, Engine 9, Ladder 5, Squad 13, Battalion 1, Battalion 3, CFD Investigations, Hamilton County EMS and Chattanooga Police Department.
