Tickets for Collegedale’s SonRise Resurrection Pageant gone in minutes
COLLEGEDALE, Tennessee (WDEF) – Collegedale Seventh Day Adventist Church and Southern Adventist University are teaming up.
For the 23rd year, they are presenting their SonRise Resurrection Pageant.
They will present 13 showings beginning at 8:30 tomorrow morning.
The tickets were free.
More than seven thousand were gone in 40 minutes when they were given out at Hamilton Place mall on March 19th.
Pastor Kris Eckenroth says “Just behind us is the tomb, and the individual who built that, uh we were prayer walking and we ended here this week and when we got here he saw us praying and he said you all have to come here, he wanted to take us behind the scenes in the tomb, and he said, here’s the lever we pull when the stone rolls away and Jesus comes out, and he said I want to tell you something that, we do this thirteen times, I’ve done it since 1996, but I want you to know it never becomes old, every single time it is powerful because the Savior is risen.”
When the tickets are given away, families can get up to seven tickets.
The first family was in line at 4:15 am for their tickets this year.
