Titans Broadcast Team Encouraged by Changes New Coach Brian Callahan Delivering

Won’t be too long before the new look Titans take the field.
Titans have a new head coach, and no Derrick Henry.
What can we expect?
The Titans radio crew breaks it down with News 12’s Brian Armstrong.

Said analyst Dave McGinnis:”This is a completely different offense than Titans fans are used to.”

The Tennessee Titans are gearing up for a season under new head coach Brian Callahan and Titans fans will be hoping Callahan will have Will Levis taking the next step.

Said McGinnis:”Next step is important. He’s still he’s still gonna have to be developed. But he’s in a brand new offense.”

Said Voice of the Titans Mike Keith:”We have total confidence in what Will Levis is becoming. Not only do you see the physical talent, but we see the overall leadership that he’s giving. We see the growth in different areas already in this new offense.”

With a new head coach and no Derrick Henry at running back means a new system for the team.

Said McGinnis:”They’re used to it to a running back centric offense. This is not going to be that. You’ve got two running backs now with similar skill set because you know the Oilers slash Titans have been Earl Campbell, Eddie George. You go to CJ2K (Chris Johnson), and then you go to Derrick Henry. Now this is a different type of an offense.”

And to give those players time to make plays, Bryan’s dad Bill Callahan is the Titans new offensive line coach.

Said Keith:”We haven’t had much of a chance with the offensive line for the last two years. In large part because of injuries, but also just some inconsistent play at certain spots.”

Said McGinnis:”His attention to detail is meticulous, consistent, meticulous fundamentals is all he’s worked on in, in this, in this whole preseason. That’s very, very key to what’s going on.”

On the other side of the ball. Tennessee will be set up in the secondary.

Said McGinnis:”It’s gonna be, it’s gonna be a very aggressive defense and not aggressive in the part to have to blitz and bring people. They signed two really, really good corners in free agency.”
