Titans Coach Mike Vrabel Faces His Old Teammate in Patriots QB Tom Brady
The Titans host the Patriots and veteran quarterback Tom Brady on Sunday. Brady is now 41-years-old, but he’s still among the top quarterbacks in the NFL having thrown for nearly 2,500 yards in nine games. Titans head coach Mike Vrabel is a former teammate of Brady’s with the Patriots. Now he’ll be coaching against Brady this weekend.
Reporter:”You guys are similar in age, and he’s still playing, and you are where you are now.”
Said Vrabel:”I guess I will take that as not a compliment. (laughter) But um. You know he’s a competitive player. A competitive person on and off the field. He loves football, and I think that’s the first thing that he loves everything about football. He loves the locker room. He loves the challenges that it brings.”
The Titans and Patriots kick at 1pm Sunday from Nissan Stadium, and the game will be televised on News 12 Now.
